Ethical Cost: €5 per plant (entirely donated to the Plantar Uma Árvore association).
Includes plants, forest protectors where applicable, transportation, land preparation work, planting and maintenance for 5 years.
Possibility to participate in the planting activity (subject to availability).
The certificate will be sent by email.
We will later send a photo report and description of the initiative in which the trees are planted.

Certificate of Forest Promotion and Conservation
Hike in Sintra, in partnership with the Plantar Uma Árvore association, certifies that the client promoted, in 2025, the planting of tree(s) in the Sintra-Cascais National Park, integrated into projects for the conservation and promotion of native forests and the sustainability of the biodiversity of native species.
The conservation and promotion of native forests and native species makes it possible to achieve a wide range of ecosystem services, such as soil erosion control, water regulation and water filtration, nutrient recycling, soil formation, carbon sequestration, filtration of atmospheric pollutants, climate mitigation, production of raw materials, reduction of the risk of fires and floods, greater resilience to fires, as well as improving people's quality of life, contributing to their health, social balance and even economic vitality.
The estimated average carbon sequestration potential for a forest plot with 25 trees in Portugal is around 15 tons of CO2.
